Zombies Absinth Honey

Zombies Absinth Honey
SAVE THE BEES
SAVE THE WORLD!

With these "Zombies Absinth Honey" products we would like to draw attention to the mass extinction of honey, wild bees and bumblebees that has been going on for years. The unique skull bottle was designed by the tattoo artist EL HAC from Vienna.

A strong decline in the populations of these animals was first noticed in 1995 when up to 50% of the commercial bee colonies died in many countries. As an explanation, "Colony Collapse Disorder" (CCD) quickly became known, a phenomenon in which the workers no longer return to the beehives and entire bee families disappear mysteriously. Indeed, "CCD" is a serious problem, but it is becoming increasingly clear that there are a variety of causes:

The Varroa mite, a parasite introduced from Asia, grabs the bee's back and sucks blood like a vampire. Without varroa treatments by the beekeeper, the mites quickly take over. Bees also struggle with the effects of monoculture and pesticides in agriculture and genetic engineering. In addition, more and more green spaces are disappearing in our midlands. The effects of the gaps in the costume, e.g. at the beginning of summer, intensified. As a result, the bees find even less pollen and nectar during this time.

In summary, it can be said that bees lose more and more parts of their natural habitat through humans and have to face a number of challenges - a struggle that millions of bee colonies lose every year.

If we do nothing for our bees now and change our behavior, it may soon be too late!
Keep in mind that bees pollinate around 80% of our crops and wild plants.

What can you do personally?

Sow bee-friendly plants
Plant a fruit tree (e.g. apple or cherry). Take your electric lawn mower to the garage and leave the dandelion in the garden instead. Turn your garden into a «bee pasture». Plant something in bloom in a balcony box. You support the bees and bumblebees with additional food, which they are happy to accept during the gaps in the costume.

Avoid pesticides in your garden
The bees don't like the pesticides, weeds and pesticides at all.

Choose honey from your region
Anyone who buys honey from the area supports local beekeepers, who do the work necessary for the preservation and health of the bees. Swiss honey also tastes good and is good for you.
